Club Series
The Auckland Motorcycle Club has been organising road race meetings for more than 80 years and the Protecta Insurance sponsored club series has been the starting place for many successful road race careers.
Pukekohe Park Raceway is our home track with away meetings at Hampton Downs track for added variety.
Race Dates for 2011/2012 Season
- Round 1 Hampton Downs October 16th
- Round 2 Pukekohe Park November 13th
- Round 3 Hampton Downs December 17th/18th
The motorcycle race classes we cover are:
125GP - Grand Prix bikes up to 125cc two stroke engine
250GP - Grand Prix bikes up to 250cc two stroke engine
Hyosung Motorcycles 250Light - Production based 250cc four stroke, 2 cylinders
Clubman's - New or "retread" racers on a variety of bikes
Ctas Formula Auckland - 601cc to Open capacity four stroke production or modified
Formula 2 - 600cc four stroke production based
Red Baron Motorcycles Formula 3 - 250cc 2 stroke, up to 450cc 4 stroke 4 cylinder and up to 650cc 4 stroke 2 cylinder
Post Classic Jnr - up to 600cc pre '72 & pre '82
Post Classic Snr - above 600cc pre '72 & pre '82
PC Pre '89 Jnr - up to 600cc
PC Pre '89 Snr - above 600cc
Plugz 4 Lugz Pro Twins - open to any twin cylinder machine (differs from MNZ class)
